New Extensions in 2008

ICANN has stated that we will be seeing new domain extensions in 2008. No these aren’t the average ccTLD’s, we will be seeing gTLD’s. Whats up with this? I have heard many opinions from users. Most of them will agree with me and they feel it’s a bad movie. We already have so many extensions as it is, why do we need anymore? Most of them ones already haven’t really taken off so nicely. Remember those free .INFOs? Maybe we will be seeing something like that in the future. See the discussion at NamePros.
