Transfering Out Of Register Fly

with 2 comments

I recently heard from someone who had spoke to a rep over at Moniker, they were told that we must wait at least 15 days to transfer out of Register Fly. This time period was put in place to see what happens with ICANN. I guess we will have fun waiting another 15 days!

GoDaddy Reseller Club

with 50 comments

I recently found at that GoDaddy has a reseller club? Whats the advantage of this? Hopefully this blog post will clear up some of the misunderstandings and the urban legends. Lets take a look at the reseller club.

To sign up, it costs $89.99 per year….. But, will you even save with this club? Why not just use the GoDaddy coupon codes, normally referred to the “GoDaddy Loophole.” Here is a chart of the discounted prices that you get for joining the reseller club:

As you can see, you really don’t save to much. You can actually save more money by using the $6.95 .com coupon and the $20 and/or 20% off coupon codes. These are great for domainers who spend over $50 at one time. Is this worth it or is it a new scam for GoDaddy to generate more revenue? The decision is up to you.

Getting Worse Everyday…

with one comment

It seems that our friends over at RegisterFly have been running into some real problems. I have been reading many stories about the company falling apart and the failed transfers. I know several people who can’t even renew their own domains and they have a positive account balance. It will just give you a failure error. Why does the future hold for RegisterFly? The truth, nothing much really.
