Yahoo Renewals On The Rise

with 2 comments

On July 1, 2008, Yahoo.com will raise thier renewal prices from the price of $9.95 per year to $34.95 per year. If you have domains at Yahoo, you should have recieved an email about the price increase. If not, then I suggest you turn off auto renew. Domains at Yahoo can auto renew, so you need to check your domains to make sure you don’t get billed $34.95. I don’t know how they expect to stay in the industry charging these obscene prices. But I guess if Register.com can do it, Yahoo can do it too. Transfer all your domains away from Yahoo so you don’t get stuck with this ridiculous renewal fee.

  2. While it seems that everything is on the rise, from domain names to groceries, you can still get good service with low affordable pricing if you do some research before jumping in two feet first. There are many reputable companies that are not as big as yahoo that can still deliver the same results!
