Finally, a fresh new marketplace. I came across BQB.com, which stands for Better Quality Business. This is a auction site, similar to Afternic and Sedo, where you can list your domain names for sale. The best part about this website is that there are no fees. The only time you have to pay a fee is to add extra options to your listing – such as promotion on the front page or extra listing categories.
BQB.com will come to the front of domaining auction market because they are keeping quality in mind. They don’t want 700,000 members. They want quality over quantity. Each member that joins must go through a verification process, where you must submit at least 50 of your domains names that have public whois. The whois information must match the account information you created your account with. Now this will not make things, totally scam free, but it sure will help.
When creating an auciton, you are also allowed to select the payment type. There are many payment types to choose from including the major ones Escrow.com, Paypal, and MoneyBookers.
I’m really a fan of this new site. I really do think it will stick around. With just over 100 quality members in a few days since launch, this website will only continue to improve. Not to mention, they have already made dozens of sales. If you haven’t signed up yet, I encourage you to do so! Putting Bill as your referrer would also help. 😉

Hi Bill!
I just wanted to thank you for informing your readers about BQB 🙂
We currently have 145 approved members and are adding them at a rate of about 10 per day (from about 20-25 applications per day on average). Support from current members has been absolutely overwhelming — I have Namepros to largely thank for the exceptional quality members BQB is ever so privileged to have so far. Volunteer support has been absolutely overwhelming, with far more people offering to help out at no charge than I have work to go around — clearly many domainers are interested in having alternative auctions. Many short domains go for less than the minimum allowed bids on the major marketplaces, so BQB is providing domainers of 5 letter .coms, 4 letter .nets, etc with a venue to sell their domains.
We’re flirting with the Top 100k mark on Alexa at the moment and averaging approximately 3000 pageviews and 500 uniques daily, which suggests to me that many domainers are tired of paying commission (me included!).
I’m hoping to launch a one time $5 address verification option inside of a couple months which will hopefully help make up for the shortcomings the current system has. As you said — it’s impossible to prevent all fraud, all non-paying bidders, and non-delivering sellers, but this is one of the major areas I’m hoping BQB can be a leader in. It doesn’t matter afterall if you can get a higher price at a different auction venue if the sale doesn’t go through in the end.

I just see a godaddy parking page at BQB.com . is it dead? what happened to the registered users? Was it a scam?
